Missing Wall resident located safely in Queens

QUEENS, NY — Michael Sferlazzo, a Wall Township resident who was reported missing as of July 8, has been located safely, according to Police Chief Don Cantwell, of the Deposit Village Police Department in New York State. Chief Cantwell said that Mr. Sferlazzo, who had last been seen in Deposit, was located yesterday afternoon in Queens, New York. Mr. Sferlazzo’s family notified the Deposit Police that he had been located as of yesterday, Chief Cantwell confirmed. Mr. Sferlazzo was originally reported missing on July 8. The Wall Township Police Department [WTPD] had been communicating with the Deposit Village Police Department, Lt. Greg Carpino, public information officer for the WTPD, confirmed Wednesday morning. According to Chief Cantwell, Mr. Sferlazzo’s name will be removed this afternoon from The National Crime Information Center [NCIC] list of missing persons.
