BRIELLE — More than 135 men and women turned out for the Holiday Express Golf Classic on Monday July 17, playing a round of golf for charity. The funds raised support the Holiday Express mission of bringing the warmth of human kindness to those most in need of it, including those in homeless shelters and children’s hospitals and the mentally and physically disabled. Organizers said the event held at the Manasquan River Golf Club in Brielle is expected to match the $75,000 raised by last year’s golf outing. Lorrie Klaric, executive director, and Holiday Express founder Tim McLoone said they are happy with the turnout and grateful for all who participated and donated to support the golf outing.
