Lights, Camera, Beach! Making a movie!

Q: Why are there cameras around Broadway? Are they shooting a movie? A: Yes, they are, actually. According to the owner of Stewart’s Drive-In, Don Alonzo, a local director is using his restaurant as a location to film scenes for an independent movie.“It’s good publicity,” Mr Alonzo said. “It’s a good location for the shore, there are not that many locations that have a facility like this.” Filming took place at Stewart’s over the course of this week with actors and extras on location. According to producers on the scene, the movie’s director is a local and loves the location. Filming should take place over the next month in locations throughout the borough.
