SEA GIRT — The Sea Girt Fire Department will hold its 16th Annual Fundraiser at Parker House on Thursday July 13. This year’s event will be especially significant, as the fire company is celebrating its 100th year of service to the community.
Former chief and chairman of the event, Keith Heilos said the event, from 7 to 11 p.m., will feature a silent auction and live entertainment.
The silent auction will include donations from Parker House, Bar Anticipation, New York Red Bulls, CBS Sports, Lakewood BlueClaws, Gregs Auto Care, Fratello’s, Rods Olde Irish Tavern, Harrigan’s Pub, Egan’s liquors and more.
According to Mr. Heilos, last year’s event generated about $10,000. All proceeds are put toward the needs of the fire department.
Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased from firefighters at the door. The purchase of one ticket includes one complimentary beverage as well as a Sea Girt.
