Adults and seniors will have the opportunity to paint Edward Potthast’s “Ring Around the Rosy” from Aspiring Artists instructor Debra Stasiak. Students will learn the specific style and layering technique of the Impressionist painter. Acrylic paints will be used on canvas, and students should note that acrylics stain clothing. Students are welcome to bring refreshments.

Fee: $30 for residents, $35 for non-residents

The Kortney Rose Foundation is teaming up with Turning Point restaurants at all 13 locations to raise money for pediatric brain tumor research. The foundation has raised money for the past 10 years in honor of Kortney Rose Gillette, who died in 2006 due to a rare brain tumor called a Diffuse Instrinsic Pontine Glioma, or brainstem tumor.
