Republican Organization to Honor Borough Officials

The Regular Republican Organization of Bay Head will host a cocktail reception and meeting to honor the borough’s mayor, council members, town employees, police and fire departments. Many local Republican candidates as well as county and state officials are expected to attend. All residents are welcome to attend.

Acceptable items include: bicycles, electronics, accessories, clothing, linens, housewares, dolls, rugs, interiors, and vases. Unacceptable items: books, furniture, televisions, liquids, and hazardous materials. All proceeds go to the Point Pleasant Beach Music Parents Association towards the various student activities and scholarships within the music department.

The Borough of Brielle and the Brielle Police Department will recognize the national, “Put the Brakes on Fatalities Day,” on Saturday Oct. 10. The national effort was designed to increase awareness about safe drivings behaviors and to keep the states’ roadways fatality-free for one day.
