Sports Reporter
Star News Group, Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach, is seeking a full-time sports reporter.
Successful candidate must have a journamlism or related degree. Experience is helfpul, but recent college graduates who have studied journalism or English will be considered.
Duties include covering the local sports scene - including Little League, summer sports and high school teams - with game stories, features and coach interviews. Must cover some weekend and night games. Successful candidate must be a self-starter, who can plan and develop high-quality content for a full sports section each week.

Web Intern Position Available This Fall
Star News Group has an unpaid internship in our web department available this fall in our Manasquan office.
Internships are open to college or high school students who are working in conjunction with their school for academic credit.
The web intern will learn all aspects of loading news, sports and photographs onto www.starnewsgroup.com, the official website of The Coast Star and The Ocean Star. Shooting and editing videos for the site, uploading breaking news and general web maintenance are also part of the job.
