Fireman’s Fair returns to Squan
MANASQUAN — It’s back.
The annual Manasquan Fireman’s Fair returned to the borough Tuesday, opening under sunny skies with low humidity.
Hundreds of residents and visitors packed into the colorful, lively fairgrounds, set up at Mallard Park, to support Manasquan Volunteer Engine Co. No. 2, the organization that puts on the fair.

BOE intros new conduct policy
MANASQUAN — During its meeting last week, the Manasquan Board of Education introduced a new, tougher student conduct policy.
The Student in Good Standing [SGS] policy is slated for adoption by the board during its next action meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m. in the high school library.
